Manning Great Lakes

The TAD Manning Great Lakes Group support locals in the Taree to Manning Great Lakes region. This is from Tea Gardens in the south to Moorlands in the north and as far inland as required. The group area joins the TAD Hunter Branch and the TAD Port Macquarie Group.

Meetings:
These are held informally each Thursday between 9.00am and 5.00pm at our Diamond Beach Workshop.

Chris Scott
Coordinator
Chris is a Retired Mechanical Engineer with 50 years in Engineering. He gained lots of experience of living with disability when his father joined his family at North Epping. Fred was a hemi-plegic requiring custom-made callipers, which Chris had made for him for many years.

Allen Pidgeon
Volunteer
Allen is a qualified Fitter Machinist with experience in Toolmaking, Turning Milling & Gear Cutting. Since moving to Tuncurry he has taught at Taree TAFE and had his own Building Design Company. He joined TAD after seeing a report on TV of a local TAD clinic for Children with Disability.

Fred May
Volunteer
Fred is a qualified Fitter & Machinist with special purpose tool & Machine design experience. He has considerable training in quality control management and as a trainer for small groups.
