Volunteers are involved in all areas of TAD's operations and contribute more than 30,000 hours a year towards delivering services to our clients.

TAD is always looking for skilled volunteers to join the team. Volunteers can work to suit their availability and there are no set hours. Items can be made or modified from a workshop at home, community workshops or the workshop in Northmead.

Volunteers are arranged into groups depending on their area or region. These groups meet regularly to discuss projects, share ideas and socialise. The Sydney groups are: Penrith, Peninsula, Macarthur, Southern Sydney, North West and Northmead. The regional groups are: Albury Wodonga, Central Coast, Central West, Hunter, Illawarra, Manning Great Lakes, Port Macquarie.
