Max is a loving 5-year-old who likes water, lights, bright colours and music. He was born with Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome. Unable to use the slides in the park, TAD volunteer Jim, constructed a play set which met all of Max's needs.
Mitchel Olsen is 10 years old and is a member of the Southern Cross bike club with his younger brother Andy.
Mitchel has cerebral palsy and can't walk or stand independently. He gets around mostly in a wheelchair but when he gets on his Freedom Wheels bike, he can feel the thrill of riding.
Amanda is mother to 1 year old Madeline. She was concerned about lifting Madeline safely when she grew as Amanda has a chromosomal disorder which has resulted in reduced height, osteoporosis and arthritis in her wrists and hands.
